Month of Merry is Holiday Thursdays in December throughout Avondale Estates.
Our local shops will be staying open until 9 p.m. on Thursdays through December, offering a variety of specials, open houses, discounts and refreshments to holiday shoppers. And this year, we’re featuring local artists and craftspeople who will set up pop-up holiday booths in retail shops! Shop for handmade jewelry, kids’ clothing, accessories, and photography, then pick up artisan cured meats, fresh-baked treats, gourmet apples, growlers of beer, hand-selected wines, or home furnishings.
We’ll start the season out with a wine tasting kickoff party at Little Wine Shop Avondale Estates on Thursday November 29, from 6-9 pm. Meet some of the artists, have a bite to eat and a taste of wine, and then pick up your shopping map and hit the shops!
There are so many new businesses in Avondale to check out, and so many wonderful ones that have been around for awhile that are worth revisiting! All with easy parking and special holiday extended hours! Many are within walking distance of each other, so grab a bite to eat, a cup of coffee or a taste of wine, and come explore!
